Angelina Jolie Won the Week With This Harrowing Quote
Angelina Jolie put a whole bunch of her critics to rest this week when she wrote a personal essay for The New York Times, in which she revealed she had a preventative double mastectomy after doctors discovered a faulty gene in her body.
Of all the sentences she wrote, though, these two rang especially powerful:
I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity.
