Here are some shocking lies we’ve heard from our favorite Bollywood celebrities.
Her life is always kept under wraps. But come on! It’s Aishwarya Rai. Everything she does is big news in Bollywood. The actress has time and again denied rumors about going under the knife, and the beauty that she is, we so want to believe her. But then, a picture is worth a thousand words, right?
Age is just a number. Well, our Bollywood beauties strictly do not believe in this saying. The Hindi film industry is one place where age defines a heroine’s fate. Almost every female actor is known to stay tight lipped about her date of birth. And Kangna was no exception. The lissome beauty, who had gone on record to state that she is just 22, was reportedly 28 years old. The incident took place in 2009 which makes the actress 32 now. Apparently, the actress’ passport states her birth year as 1981.
Now who can forget this one. The Hiss actor, Mallika Sherawat was heard boasting about her accomplishments in the cinema world, while in an interview at the 66th Cannes International Film Festival. First of all, she spoke in an accent that was neither Indian nor American but definitely gibberish. Well, According to the actress, she was the first person to kiss onscreen and also the first to have donned a bikini in an Indian film. Either she doesn’t have her facts right, or may be Mallika just wanted to look cool. Whatever be the reason, she seems to have forgotten that a far more talented actor named Devika Rani kissed her co-star and later husband Himanshu Rai in a 1933 film called Karma, with the liplock lasting four minutes. And there are more than a dozen heroines who have dooned a two piece, starting with Sharmila Tagore in 1967 (Evening in Paris), Dimple Kapadia (Bobby, 1973), Zeenat Aman (Qurbani, 1980)… and the list goes on and on!
