Sukhumvit Soi 19  - Sacha's Hotel Uno

Built in 2008 Sacha's Hotel Uno is not the latest hotel in Sukhumvit, Bangkok. But it's certainly one of the best service oriented hotels near Soi Cowboy red light district.

The hotel's managements main focus is attention to detail and ensuring that their guests are comfortable and attending to their needs as best as possible. Which is something that's normally lacking in Thai hotels.

It's also a good hotel choice if you only have one full night to spend in Bangkok. Because from the airport you can take the Airport train to Makkasan station, just a 30 minute ride. From that station transfer to Petchburi MRT subway station and get off at the next to stop on Sukhumvit MRT station. After that it's only a 5 minute walk to Sacha's Hotel Uno. Or you can take a taxi from Makkasan station straight to the hotel's doorsteps. Should only take a few minutes (unless there's traffic) and cost around 50THB.

Either way, you'll save money compared to taking a taxi direct from the airport. So there's no need to stay near the airport unless you're really short on time. 

Sacha's Hotel Uno is located on Sukhumvit Soi 19. It's a guest friendly hotel so you can easily bar fine a girl at Soi Cowboy and be back at your hotel in under 10 minutes (30 minutes if she's wearing high heels). So no need to pay extra renting a room at a short time hotel. The same goes for Thai freelancers. There are many locations on Sukhumvit road to pick up freelancers near the hotel.

Just right outside and inside Thermae Bar on Sukhumvit Soi 15 you'll find at at least dozens of bar girls on weekends. Then there's Gulliver's Tavern on Soi 7 with plenty of freelancers just sitting around waiting for guys to pick them up. And Nana Entertainment Plaza's go go bars are a 15 minute walk.

Or if you want to experience Bangkok's famous soapy massage parlors there's Darlings Massage in Sukhumvit Soi 12 which is right across Sukhhumvit road from Sacha's Hotel Uno.

Deluxe room at Sacha's Hotel Uno

Now Sacha's is a medium sized hotel with a main building and an annex building combined together for 56 rooms. There are only 3 room types; Standard, Superior and Deluxe.

Standard rooms are obviously the most economical and you can get that room for around 1800THB which is a really good price through another hotel reservation system we're partnered with.

But the standard rooms are small, at least around 20 square meters. For a single person it should be alright though.

But I prefer more space so I usually go for the Deluxe room in the annex building which cost around 2400THB.

The hotel is in a great convenient location. It's about a 5 minute walk to Soi Cowboy.

It's not a bad hotel and highly recommended for those seeking a hotel near a lot of buzz and activity in central Bangkok.
